The NWHRWA chapter hosts a fall conference each year. Look for information about the 2007 fall conference mid to late summer.

This past fall, the conference was held on October 6 and 7. Our guest speaker was Mary Buckham and she gave a fabulous presentation on The Mythic Journey: Using the Heroine's Journey to Plot Your Novel. Our many thanks to her and all the other members who helped pull off a wonderful conference.

During the conference, winners of the Lone Star Writing Competition were announced. Congratulations to all those who finaled. Winners can be found on the contest page.
